With advance booking, Castello di Monsanto offers the opportunity to visit its cellars. These are more than simple tours, rather a true immersion in the world of Chianti Classico. From processing techniques in the vineyard to the vinification and refinement, each step of the production is explained and the visit ends with a tasting of the estate's wines. In addition to the 3 different types of experiences offered, Castello di Monsanto organizes, on request, exclusive custom and vertical experiences based on each specific inquiry.
Booking is necessary for tastings and offered from Monday to Friday.
Classic
Duration : Approximately 1 ½ hours

A unique experience discovering Castello di Monsanto, its history, production methods, and the various stages of refining and aging wine.

Convivium

A tour for a minimum of 4 people where food and wine come together. An experience which encourages you to savour Castello di Monsanto’s atmosphere and discover how the estate’s great wines come to be.

Cru
Duration : Approximately 2 hours

For a minimum of 4 people, this tour is designed for enthusiasts and those who love exclusivity and want to discover not only Castello di Monsanto, but also the most representative Crus that have shaped its history.

- Tasting of 4 wines from the winery’s Crus

When there is good weather it is also possible to include a visit to the Il Poggio vineyard.
Journey back in time

For a minimum of 4 people Castello di Monsanto offers the possibility of vertical tastings ,of its historic vintages, on a journey that unveils the evolution of the 3 winery’s Crus through 4 decades, from 1980 to current vintages. Take a fascinating ride through the history of the winery, the Bianchi family and the terroir di Monsanto.
