Climate trend
2013 was cooler than the previous vintages of 2012 and 2011. Good rain during winter and spring created a good reserve of water and allowed for the vine’s late flowering. July started with high temperatures and the development of vegetation was rebalanced. In August and September average seasonal temperatures brought the grapes to perfect maturation for harvest. During the month of September very good temperature fluctuations between day and night helped the development of a rich bouquet. The harvested grapes were of excellent quality, healthy and rich in aromatic substances and ideal polyphenols.
